Someone please correct me if I have any facts wrong here. I'm having trouble understanding why we were offering Dan a "time served" plea deal if there is evidence of him trying to order a hit on Judge Humphrey. We can't let him out under a reasonable amount of bond to prepare for his trial, but we would have let him out right then and if he took a plea deal and pleaded guilty. The only reason I see for the prosecution to try to offer this kind of deal was to try to get Dan to fold his hand. So the way I see it now is they just have to try to convict him at any cost. Now we are supposed to believe that some convicted criminal who has no way to corroborate his story overheard Dan ask about getting a hit on Judge Humphrey? The law of identity states that A is A. I think we can apply that here and say Bullshit is Bullshit. I hope Dan is found innocent on all charges and I hope he gets every last penny of any compensation he is suing for!
