Mary, so nice to know someone else is as much a fan of Adriano as I am. : ) And girl, I am with you 150%, on the age thing. I get so tired of hearing them go on and on about his age. I hope he is still riding, like he did in Tulsa, when he's 40 and then they'll all have to eat crow!!!
As for the Champ thing...the PBR recently changed that rule, a cowboy has to be in the the top 45 to ride at a BFTS event. I, for one, think that is a fair deal... What about y'all? I mean if you think about it, its not fair for a guy who won the world championship who consistently stays ranked 50 or below to get to keep riding on the BFTS because that means one of the other boys, who might be struggling to stay on tour, doesn't get good draws and consiquently doesn't get good scores. I'm sure there are arguements for this new rule on both sides of the fence. I'm 100% for it myself.

I, too, would like to see the younger guys be able to move up, but there is also something to be said in consideration of the fan base that a world champ would have built up. People who love a rider would want to cheer him on through the lean times. Keeping them in the tour also shows a level of respect from the PBR for the cowboys who, at one time, were the best.
