Subject: Padding the top rail

OMG! I was sick to my stomach when Ross Coleman hit the rail of the chut.. And I dont think Luke is big enough to be spotting for Ross.

Why in the world don't the PBR have that top rail padded? It would not be hard to do at all. They could at least pad the top rails and the big post/rails.

It made my stomach turn as well when Ross hit the rail. Ross has been a favorite of mine for a long time and I always hate to see him (or any rider for that matter) get hurt. I agree with you Becky....why don't they put some type of psdding on those rails. It would not only protect the rider, but it could help to protect the bull should they thrash around in the chut. This isn't the first time a rider has gone head first into the rails and it probably won't be the last, so it would be smart to put some type of padding on the rails. I hope that Ross is going to be okay.
