Didn't Mac mention her parents just celebrated their 30th anniversary? I'm on cold tablets, so I could be just imagining this, but I�m pretty sure that why there weren't home in the beginning of the book. If true, it wouldn't be unreasonable to think Dad got married later than 20. But your theory does make me wonder if Dad & Mom Lane moved to said small town after they adopted the girls to keep them off the Fae radar.. -- DARKFEVER
