I'd have to say I agree with Kira. JB is like Anasi, just sitting in the middle of the web. He's not all powerful, but he has connections and utilizes them properly. I think he knows about V'lane's offer, but not the totality of what went on (or perhaps he was only supposing that V'lane made the offer and Mac's reaction confirmed it). Thus, JB is smart and wise in using what shadows of knowledge he has. Further more, I believe that if JB knew exactly went on between V'lane and Mac that he'd be in the middle of fighting V'lane and getting pissy about him trying to use / take his property. -- DARKFEVER
