The more minutious KMM readers might want to correct me but I do believe the sidhe-seers were gifted with the sight from the Fae themselves. I do recall reading that somewhere. Way before the compact and then they were hunted down. After the compact they were no longer killed but brought to the fae realms to live out their lives in luxurious captivity. I have never heard of a male sidhe-seer either but nothing is impossible in KMM's books.
