The opened window is mentioned in the newest booklet from KMM - which is comprised of the first three chapters of the new Fever boook - Bloodfever, due out in October. You HAVE to read this booklet. I'm sure one of the ladies on the main board will lend you one if you ask nicely. They are not yet available for sale. I can't comment on the Sinclair thing. I'm not familiar with them. There are a couple of KMM's Highlander books that I haven't read yet. (waiting for my audio book of Beyond). -- DARKFEVER
