**Sigh** That scene is one of my faorites in the book. However I think JB fell for Mac the moment she walked into his bookstore for the very first time. And sometimes I think that we are given all we need to know about what JB is thinking. Just look at the bed-head scene. What does he tell her? "Be pretty, Ms. Lane, be young. Go home and have pretty babies..." Do we really need to have his POV in order to know what he thinks!! That scene is sooo romantic. **sigh** -- DARKFEVER
