Gabby's BooK of Sidhe-Seer Bloodline
Another idea about the Fever series.. Who has Gabby's book? Did Adam give it to Drustan or JB? We have Connors and O'Callaghans so far that we know of. Will we meet more in the next book. They need the four stones to read the Dark Book and JB has two of them. Will Darroc use the old ways(tuatha de)to read the book without the stones? Did JB come from one of the other fae realms? Mac didn't say he was fae but we all know that he has superhuman strength. Adam did give Morgana's clan special powers(Immortal Highlander) Is JB part of that line, from the 9th century?
Now we have to wait until October to find out.

I would hope that Gabby still has her book but it is possible that it may have gotten stolen. -- Cheryle

Gabby's Book -- Pa mom, 09:25:51 05/03/07 Thu [1]
Good point I didn't think about that and if someone different had her book. Good thinking.

Didn't Adam say that he destroyed the pages that had the family names listed? I haven't checked, so I could be wrong, but for some reason that rings a bell. I remember him telling Gabby that she shouldn't "make it so easy" for his race to find the Sidhe-seers. -- Kelli Jo, 21:57:31 05/03/07 Thu [1]

I believe that Gabby stills has all her books, and you're right Kelli Jo, Adam did indeed destroy all the pages listing the Sidhe-seer's names and family lines. Remember, Gabby is reading the book when Adam goes to make her immortal against her wishes, so I see no reason why she wouldn't still have it. I like the idea that JB could be distant offspring of Morgana's clan ^_^ -- Annaline, 07:07:37 05/04/07 Fri [1]

If I remember correctly there wasn't just one book. I think there were several books but only one listed all the family names. I think Kelli Jo is right and Adam destroyed that one. But don't you remember he was making corrections to the book that was totally devoted to him? So maybe she still has the other books and maybe there will be clues in them to the identity of other families that they aren't aware of yet.I can't remember if Gabby has read through all the books or not. -- Sheila

It was in ancient gaellic, so she wouldn't understand the list even if she did still have it. -- claudia_celestial_girl, 12:35:48 05/14/07 Mon [1]
Remember that Adam told her that he, or another Fae, were the only ones who could recognize that list for what it was. Then he said - you shouldn't make it so easy for the Fae to find you ...

Sidhe-Seer Bloodline -- Deja, 01:08:42 05/05/07 Sat [1]
Hey BeaJae,
Interesting theory on Gabby's Book, but help a lass out. Where did it say gave Morgana's clan powers? I would like to give it another read over.

Gabby's book and Morganna's clan - I don't have any recollection of Adam giving special powers to Morganna's clan. But I only process about 80% of what I read. Have to mull stuff over later ... -- claudia_celestial_girl, 23:44:44 05/20/07 Sun [1]

Gabby's book -- Debra, 12:18:30 05/20/07 Sun [1]
Obviously new here. Just read DARKFEVER. First book of KM that I've read. Ya'll keep talking of "Adam" "Gabby" and a whole bunch of others that I have no idea who they are and what all ya'll are talking about. Looking at the website I see that KM has written another series but she claims they are not related to this one. Do the characters spill over to this one? I was hoping that DARKFEVER was an "old" book so I could jump on to the next. It was really good and was so disappointed to find out that I have to wait. I guess good things DO come to those who wait.

Lucky You!!! KMM lied. The characters do spill over, and you have to go right out and read the following books ... -- claudia_celestial_girl, 23:19:58 05/20/07 Sun [1]
There are a couple of ways you can do this - one is in order of how they relate to Dark Fever, the other is in order of how they relate to each other. I have just reading these myself, so I am biased. Here's how I would recommend it:
1) Immortal Highlander. This book contains a character who looks suspicously like the Lord Master. He even predicts that he is going to unleash the Unseelie Prison and overthrow the Queen
2) Spell of the Highlander. This book is about a character who owns one of the other Unseelie Hallows, and how he looses it. This character is from London, and probably owns the shop that was raided as described by Jerricho Barrons on the terrible night shortly after its owner disappeared. I suspect that JB might have been the one to raid the shop, and we'll learn later, I'm sure.
3a & b) In order to understand Druids, AKA the MacKeltar and their relationship to the Hallows, you have to read Kiss of the Highlander and Dark Highlander - in that order. You cannot read one before the other. These two Druids, we speculate, may be important in books to come because of the warning I mention below, that is contained in Spell of the HIghlander. And these two books will help you understand a bit more about JB.
4) Finally, in order to understand Adam Black's role in all of this, you really have to read The Highlander's Touch. This book explains about some of the Hallows, and we think that the cauldron might actually be the flask that is a key part of this book. Adam fought the first battle with the character who looks like the Lord Master, and that battle might foreshadow things to come in the fever series.
However! If you were to do the right thing, you'd have to read these in chronological order as follows (tho' the term 'chronological' is used with some irony, as some of these are time-travel books):
1) The Highlander's Touch
2) Kiss of the HIghlander
3) Dark Highlander
4) Immortal Highlander
5) Spell of the HIghlander
Spell of the Highlander closes with a few pages that are suspiciously like a segway into the Dark Fever Series. An ominous vision and forewarning ...
Good luck and Happy Reading!!! Sigh. I feel like I want to sit back and read these all over again.

One more thing - someone below, Deja?? commented that JB might be related to a person who is an antagonist in Dark Highlander. Since we are all curious about JB's origin (and I personally feel there is another 'shoe' to drop about him) these hints are tantalizing about his motives and real character. ;-) But you absolutely can't read Dark before Kiss. Though I'll allow you to peak, to see if you can find this character who might be similar to JB. -- claudia_celestial_girl, 23:39:19 05/20/07 Sun [1]
