Kresley Cole and Christine Feehan are both great authors, I'm currently eagerly awaiting their next releases. Another is Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series. I've also recently picked up Maggie Shayne's Twighlight series and Lyndsay Sand's vampire book, and they are fun too. -- DARKFEVER
