Subject: my thoughts...

Well, I've just done another run-through of the last 3 books....here's my thoughts on the matter of who, or what, JB is.

At the end of Spell of the Highlander, Aoibheal is clearly in some trouble, and she's arranged things so that 5 of her best and most powerful Druids can be together to help her (though they haven't a clue as to that yet).

So my theory....JB is one of those. He's admitted he's part Pict, and as that's an ancient race and he seems able to walk with the unseelie, move with incredible speed, and to be slightly larger-than-life, I would say he's half-fae, like Adam's son. Only unlike Circenn, he's welcomed his Fae half and learned from his Father (or mother?!?). I would think that his mortal parent was a Druid, and combining the powers he inherited from his Druid and Fae parents, that would make him one formidable opponent. As such, he also possess much more knowledge of the Fae, both Seelie and Unseelie that the Keltar possess...also because he's lived much longer then even Cian, probably spent time among the Fae learning, and also cause the Keltar "lost" much of their knowledge when the chamber was sealed (though they seem to be making a nice dent into that).

Anyways, my two cents worth....JB is half-Fae, half-Druid...and, as all, KMM hero's, ohh, all man! lol

there's way too much time between now and Bloodfever!

[> Maybe. Geek that I am, I've been researching name meanings and inadvertantly stumbled on the meaning for "Jericho." At least according to one website, it means "Nocturnal." That might not mean anything, but "Cian" (according to different site) means "ancient."... noticing a trend? As a (sometimes) writer, name meanings often figure in to what I name a character. -- Melissa, 19:55:33 02/14/07 Wed [1]
