Subject: Blood Fever Tease
Alrighty, for all those who didn't get newsletter/Blood Fever teaser, ignore this. For all those who did - Dang, but can that woman tease or what??? (Serious eye roll with a smile) I'm just going to bet that those two little snippets, are not both referring to JB. Betcha the second is V'lane. Two reasons, first - our girl KMM is tricksy, and would dearly love to have us off on tangent of JB being Fae. Two, in the first one, he calls her Ms. Lane, in the second the gentleman character that remains nameless in the tease calls her MacKayla.

I agree, but I don't think it will just end with them having sex. I believe he's going to play a major role in Mac find out who killed her sister.

Hi everyone, I'm new here so I hope that you don't mind me just jumping in!!
I am hoping that Mac holds out for JB - I would, even though we don't know who he is yet - I'm kinda going toward a whole vampire scenario myself for some reason.....
Anyway, I am totally in agreement about the first snippet from JB and the second from V'Lane!!!
I LOVE THIS NEW SERIES!!
I still can't wait for the next MacKeltar, though! :)

JB isn't a Fae......I think he's a Druid. Cause if he was Fae, Mac would know already. JB didn't call her MacKayla, but I think V'Lane will in the next book because calling her "human" isn't working. I'm in total agreement that Mac will get involved with a fey and it will probably be V'Lane. In fact, I think she tells us so right in Darkfever's prologue. Now I'm probably screwing this up by relying on my faulty memory, but my book is nowhere near me right now. But doesn't she say in the prologue that she has personal knowledge of what a human woman goes through after being with a fey? On my second read of Darkfever, that popped out at me.
Also, you know how JB can walk among the "Shadows" and they leave him alone? Mac has never been attacked by the shadows either at this point. For all we know, they may leave her alone too. It'll be interesting to see what happens there- is she so deathly afraid of them because of what she knows they do to other humans, or is it a part of her sidhe seer instinct.
And you are also absolutely right that KMM's teaser's are positively EVIL!! How the heck are we gonna last till August???!! You know it's weird, I enjoyed KMM's past books and certainly anticipated their release, I've also enjoyed fey books by other authors, but for some reason, I was crazy waiting for Darkfever's release. Like I somehow KNEW this was going to be an extaordinary book. And OH MY! it sure was. Even though I like romance and erotica, I didn't miss it for one minute in this book. This series looks like it will become one of my top favorites and promises to be KMM's signature series ala Anita Blake, Kay Scarpetta, Sookie Stachouse, etc.
Is it August yet?
