Author: isnt it for the girls not for the teachers..?
Subject: sem and the academy's girls
In reply to: fan 's message, "sem senior mixed" on Thu, Apr 03 2008, 18:23:09

all the girls from both schools worked extremly hard to get where they got (as well as all the other teams did)so whatever happens with the teachers should be kept between the teachers and its the girls that should be the ones that are getting the attention not the teachers. As the girls all worked so so hard all year but all everyone seems to talk about is the 'issues' between the schools when its not even between the schools its just the teachers!!!! i think people should be applauding the teams not tearing them down!!!

[> [> [> MOD...Are all these people using this forum cause they know their posts are not deleted when they put bitchy comments to put others good achievements down! The worlds are over and the results that each and every dancer and team got deserved it! Well done to everyone! Now MOD i think these nasty comments need to be deleted as things seem to be getting out of hand and isnt right for the dancers that worked so hard! -- Dancer, Mon, Apr 07 2008, 22:23:01 [1]

[> [> [> [> No one on here has questioned either 1st placed results or the qualities of the dancing involved. While I accept that very few know the full story of all that took place at the worlds, the reality is that one school appears to have allowed itself a very public display of disapproval, and it is because of that any discussion has taken place. As such discussions which do not deteriorate into slagging matches or hearsay statements are allowed. The point raised is one of public etiquette and NOT of dancing, previous history or personalities, so any posts that deviate from that point shall be deleted and ip numbers may be stored for future reference. It should be noted that at present some of the most virulent attacks appear to have come from supporters of one specific side. My appologies to some recent posters, but in fairness we need to keep to point so therefore I will have to delete some posts. -- MOD, Tue, Apr 08 2008, 1:35:27 [1]

[> [> This is very sad. My dd competed against a younger SEM team. The teams scores were VERY close. My dd said that the SEM girls were extremely nice, & after spending so many hours sort of 'stuck' together, they were cheering each other on, rivalries put to rest. I hope they can keep it about the dance as they get older -- with or without the cameras on, Mon, Apr 07 2008, 23:57:54 [1]
