Much is being made of "the mistake" made. Obviously this was taken into account by the SEVEN individual adjudicators in their marking. As for every other team in the competition there wasn't one that was totally without fault, and all their errors were also taken into account, so why is everyone so keen to pick up on one mistake by The Academy. I was sat directly behind two AD's so could clearly see what they saw, and know what errors were made. On the day they collectively felt SEM were slightly better than The Academy and gave that result. as others have said, that does not make poor behaviour acceptable -- For the love of the dance

In reply to: american parent 's message, "many teams do get along very well and make close friends... for example take doherty, carey and sem... they are always competing and sometimes it is very close between marks but they are constantly cheering each other.. so doesnt this make you think that the academy must have done something serious to make sem not clap.! and i must say that there was no one from sem booing the academy results because i was sat quite close to the area where sem were sat. there was a bit of talk as to how they got 2nd because of the mistake made but there was definately no booing!! and to be honest if sem dont want to clap the academy then they dont have to and it shouldnt cause such a fuss between everyone else because it doesnt effect anyone else!" on Tue, Apr 08 2008, 21:43:29
