Guys, the timetable for the Solent feis and the FULL details for the Southern Region Council grades feis are now on Irish dancer, my thanks to Des for sending them to me. The SERC rades feis is asking all dancers to refrain from wearing the fancy dresses and only wear a skirt & blouse. I wonder if it will catch on? Good idea though, for a hot summers day (hopefully) -- For the love of the dance

[> Personally I'm delighted to support this feis in the spirit it's being run, Will be interesting to see how many dancers accross the grades will be brave enough to go without the fancy dress. I hope every parent who every shook their heads at the crazy prices dresses were costing, as well as some styles, will support this feis and encourage their dancers to try the natural look. Remember it's only one feis out of the whole year where you can relax and not worry about dresses, wigs, make up or even tan, what a really pleasurable thought.
