The Anchors Aweigh song is actually the USA naval cadets finishing college and drinking their fill before putting to sea. The song its self is a swipe at the Army. I'm sure the army also has one about the navy. This song is a swipe at the confederates changing course into battle and the navy never will change course but meet the battle head on. Sammy
