Date Posted: 13/11/14 12:18pm Hi, my grandad Harold Samson was an AB on the Tordene joined at Liverpool sailing with a cargo to Halifax, Nova Scotia before heading back to UK. I don't have any dates but have written comments from him saying the ship limped back into Liverpool shadowed by a Sunderland flying boat.
