I'm alarmed at the way some of you people over here,(originated in the U.K.)refer to that country as though talking in the third person. How one can come over here and assume that they've achieved some marvelous feat by becoming an Australian Citizen,to me seems they had little allegiance to their country of origin anyway.I'm referring in particular to Dinkum U.K. residents. People coming from those african Hell-holes,and similary unsatisfactory Republics excepted. It's Great Britain, not because of what you or I have done.But of the sacrifices of our forebears. Suffice to say ,that the only Australians I know ,are Black and reside mainly in the Bush. The fact is re.citizenship here ,is that in many cases it is facilitated according to their expertise in Sport etc. One case was documented where a Asian chap was made citizen on the 'plane bringing him here.So as to be able to represent Australia.Otherwise ,to me, to knock one's Heritage,is akin to knocking ones Parentage.
