G'day Glen, yes soem terribel things were done after the war. I was one of the kids sent North for some of the war. There were a number who were told their parents had been killed in the Blitz and that they would be sent here to Oz. A few years ago it all came out. The parents were still alive but British gov wanted to re-populate Oz as at that time they still had British passports until 1948. There have been many occasions over tiem when the British gov has been less than squeaky clean. happy daze john in oz
