Date Posted: 11/04/08 3:15pm In the 1950s I remember seeing part of a vessel at low tide off the coast at Tynemouth, Northumberland. I believe this was the boiler of the Swedish vessel, Sjovik which came ashore during the Great War. Does anyone know whether this is correct and, if so, under what circumstances did she sink? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
