frank you have it all wrote down and documented to the best of your ability .i admire that i have done a very simular thing for my kids@grandkids put together a picture library with the help of friends on sites like this dug up lots of info.kept my discharch books much memorabilia.vets badge in glass case.my only hope is that it is looked after.and passed down to my future offsprings and theirs.because i fear that one day the merchant navy and its importance to this country of ours may fade in the wilderness.i sit and tell my 3 grandkids little stories show them on the net{google earth}the ports and places grandad has been.my eldest son now well in his 30:s calls me uncle albert.but the young ones do take an interest and while we have sites like this who knows our memories may never fade.and some of the youth of today especially local historians may just carry on our memories long after we all gone.regards frank {terry scouse}.
