Hi John,
Yes Union Castle may not have ben the biggest entire Company of ships,but i know they were the Biggest as far as Passenger Cariers were concerned,up there too were P&O, Cunard but later Chandris Lines surpassed all of them to become the largest Passenger FLEET.
Just a bit of info.
I am actually going to do a bit of research on just how many ships Union Castle had,including Cargo.
Will let you know just for fun!
