Date Posted: 27/02/08 3:09am Any information etc sought on the SS. Lieutenant Robert Moray. A Merchant ship attacked by three enemy aircraft, armed with aerial torpedoes, on a coastal convoy. The SS. Lieutenant Robert Moray was a 3,176 ton steamship. “The planes attacked in turn two attacking around while the remaining one made his swoop. The ship was struck in the stokehold at 7.45”. This was in December 1942, The ship was taken in tow and after 36 hours reached port. This is the only information found so far, we would appreciate any assistance. Thank you in advance. Regards, Keith. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
