As a 9 year old boy (1963) I sailed from capetown to Southampton on the Stirling Castle, Departed capetown April 19 arrived southampton May 3 our captain was DW Sowden RD, RNR, I know these facts because I too am looking at a fair well dinner menu. Chief catering officer, Richard Reeves FHCI. chef de cuisine D VDaysh. the 3 voyage movies were On the beat . With Norman wisdom, I could go on singing, with Judy Garland, and Witness for the prosecution, with Tyrone Power.
