Yes it all changed rather quickly I think, even if you went ashore as a rigger and scaffolder, I Doubt if any of these chaps today would no anything about wire splicing or rigging a chair, I did steeple jacking too thats another no no today, andBreaking out the jumbo well todays blokes just wouldnt have a clue.Lifeboat tickets, knowing all the ration dishouts now to memorie 16oz of Barley sugar 16oz condensed milk etc and also running the boat itself.I bet they wouldnt know what a lamptrimmer was either, all the best Glenn in oz
