Date Posted: 29/01/08 2:20am In reply to: Billy McGee 's message, "Re: A.D.C 527 and A.D.C. 1272" on 27/01/08 11:54am Billy, Cannot thank you enough, the gentleman that did so much great work on our local Roll of Honour had only listed local man - JEAVONS, Ordinary Seaman, STANLEY, A.D.C. 527. Hence our assumption, that he had survived his war wounds until January 1946. With your assistance we now can assume that as all dates for casualties are the same, some tradegy occurred that was war related on that date: The possibility of a mine had not been thought of: If at some stage we come across more casualties for A.D.C. 1272, We can take it that a similar fate befell the crew. We are still stuck on the vessels. CWGC - LISTING SHOWS AS SS. YET, numbers rather than NAMES OF SHIPS - OUR MYSTERT CONTINUES. May I again re-iterate our thanks.
