Date Posted: 9/02/08 9:43am I am an ex R/O who is on the committe trying to save Stonehaven Radio Station (GND) for the local community and also use part of the building as a museum to the Maritime Radio Service and the Merchant Navy. Details can be seen on website www.stonehavenradiostation.co.uk. Should the project succeed I have been offered on loan for the museum the Marconi equipment removed by the donor from the Ben Macdhui (III). The only item missing is the Atlanta receiver. I am trying to get a photo of the actual radio room if such a photo is in existence and also the call sign of the Ben MacDhui. I have tried most of the websites including Ben Line etc but no joy.
