Even though I am not there, it has been a busy pageant week! I am not sure if Emma will have any appearances tomorrow but I can't wait to hear from her.

Plenty to say about the pageant tomorrow! I am not sure I have it left in me for a whole post tonight but definitely tomorrow.

You know, it wasn't the stuff that dreams are made of, but I think many of us were just glad to have our pageant back tonight. It's been a LONG two years. I just needed to kick back and relax for a bit, we all did. And I think we are all happy with the winner. I have never seen this much excitement about a winner. Emma is going to be great. And I do think she will open some doors with the mental health community, which is very important. And partnering with Special Olympics will keep Emma visible. I think it's a great choice.

[> Subject: Looking forward to your recap! There is a LOT to unpack. šŸ˜³ Production was embarrassingly poor. And yet, I totally enjoyed watching. It held my attention from beginning to end. I think the top 10 and 5 were very strong and completely ā€œgotā€ what the judges saw in each candidateā€”even Oregon, who was not on my radar.

[> Subject: Yes there certainly was. I did not see or hear one positive comment about the production. But some things were actually good. Overall, it was just kind of amateur. Full review shortly!
