Subject: What is the saddest to me is that maybe Miss America was not the powerhouse it used to be, and probably would never be again, it's just being nosedived into the ground. I am going to post this in a separate post, but Shandi Finnessey, who is much disparaged in MAO circles, has a very good comment on modernizing the pageant. You can modernize a pageant without going in this direction. This is not a pageant-this is a corporate spokesperson position.
