| Subject: You bring up an interesting observation which I have been thinking about ever since the crowning. Camille is very vocal about the fact that she does not have talent. However, talent is still counted at 50% of the preliminary score. If talent was to be so important, she is doing the organization no favors. I do agree that she does remind me of a more classic Miss America. And Nia was certainly 1.0 as well. So, maybe in the end, the judges are still going by who they see jump out at them rather than picking the best candidate for a job. I still think Camille won because she was able to speak well and pick up on the talking points of the MAO very well, and that's what they were looking for. |
