It looks like we do have one lone titleholder for the class of 2020 that doesn't even exist. Congratulations to Jessica Criss, it looks like she is a genuine young woman who is respected by her peers. Great platform with equine therapy. Am I correct in that she will not be able to compete at next year's Miss America pageant if there is one in 2021?

Also, this is an interesting question: if you were competing today, would you just want to become your state titleholder if it meant never getting to Miss America? Right now if you were competing, do you even believe there will be another Miss America pageant? If that is the case, would you be happy just representing your state for a year? There are still scholarships to be had. And sadly, you can put next to nothing into a wardrobe now. No evening gowns, etc. The new Miss Montana is in a very unique situation. I wish her the best and I hope she has a blessed year as Miss Montana.
