Subject: I’m not following as much because I believe the winner was already favorited and chosen the moment she won her local. While I will say she’s very beautiful, it does take the fun out of following prior to the pageant. Author: But good luck teens! Can’t wait to see what happens!! I do feel the judges get an over detailed description by the board of who or what they want. (I.e if they want a black woman with curly hair to win, they will definitely tell them that; or a blonde with blue eyes, army soldier, whatever). Same goes for locals. If a state board is in cahoots with a local, they will tell the judges to eye them. Or if a certain family has been involved with the system for many years, it may just be natural for the judges to know who they are, especially if they are familiar with the pageant world. People can contradict me or not. But that is how I have been feeling for the past few years, and that won’t change for now. It hasn’t always been like that... Yes, MUO might be far better than MAO now, but I still think not much greatness has come out of IMG taking over. Just shocking Teen & Miss USA winners and some great Universe winners that have been poorly marketed. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
