The Track will be closed today 11/21 due to the rain and no sun..Next weekend we will be closed 11/28 for Thanksgiving.I hope everyone enjoys the holiday.We will reopen on Dec 5th and run the special event we had planned for 11/21..Gates opening at 11:00 a.m. time trials 12:00 bracket starting at 2:00 p.m....weather permitting

The Car belongs to Bill Losac. No he does not drive it. Ron Alumbaugh drives it normally but was not available sat. night. I use to drive it before Ron but did'nt have time for it anymore with my own car.

I think it is going to be the regular schedule, gates at 5 start running at 6. Sure would be nice to start earlier, 77 for a high and 60 for a low is what they are calling for right now. Hope to see yall there.

If any body is intresdted there will be one this Saterday at the river allong with the othere index classes. 6.60 7.00 7.50. You Can run the River in the day and go to the hill at night. The Rivers Race startes gates open at 10:00

Bevo Bullet, it is only 5.80 Index this Sat Nov 14th at LR and all Index classes run Sat Nov 28th at LR -5.80,6.20, 6.60, 7.00 & 7.50
I missed out on the PH 5.80 Index but no one else showed.

Two shifters to choose from. Both are used in good condition. one B&M Pro-shifter slimline design with air/electric shift solenoid and neutral switch, other is B&M Pro-Bandit slimline design with cable, no solenoid. $85 for either one.

Track is closed only on the 7th of November. Will be open Nov 14th. have regular night. I'm trying to get program together for Nov 21st "Thanksgiving Run"..Not sure about 11/28..We having talking about running thur winter opening gates 12:00 time trials 1:00 closed around dark....What do you think????

About my 5.80 index "no one entered" ..Yes, it was good N/E bracket night 17 cars..I'm going keep trying till we find another class ya will enter!! maybe 6.00 are 7.00..

track opening 12 or 1 sounds good to me having 17 cars in the bracket made a lot more interesting. But just wondering if yall mite be able to get the dividers for the tree that way u dont see the other persons like it would be a little less distracting when u run someone with times that are close. the only reason u need to see the other person light is if ur running electronics class and leaving off the other person light so i think it would help out and keep people that have electronics from using them in a N/E class

Jeff ran a 5.56, i heated bottle to 1000 and made a try at it . the track had went away or at least right lane it was the first time that it just blew the tires off right at the hit. i will make sure next time to heat bottle good the first time and purge down to right prussure.I know it will go in the 50's.

It is with heavy heart that I have to report that at 5:30 a.m. Monday Dad passed away peacefully with all my brothers and sisters at his side. Dad injoyed being at the races and visiting with some of you when he was able and he will be greatly missed. Visitation will be Tuesday night 6 to 8 p.m. and services will be Wed. at 2 p.m. at the Bellmead Funeral Home with burial at Billington Cemetery.Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers................................ Turn the bracket racing into index class racing (6.0,7.0.ect)with a $100 payout to the winner & pay $1000 for low et. To make it more interesting at 11:00 every night make the 2 fastest cars run for the low et money,the quicker will get lane choice if there is only one car going for it reduce the payout to $500.

I like Robbie's Idea's on Index racing 5.80 or 6.00 Index.
We can bring in half a dozen cars from Central TX in each class. ($50 entry same as LR winner takes purse).
If we Index Race at PH, I will get the word out to all the Little River Index on Oct 10th at LR meet.

All cars running for low ET should pair up for the money.


Might also see about some Little Pooch True 10.5 (5.50)racers, Ken needs to talk with Sven from Killeen, he may be able to contact a half dozen Little Pooch cars.
These cars bring the crowds. ($50.00 entry fee takes purse)

Different possiblities here and many of these cars, 6.00/7.00 Index/Little Pooch and Low ET racers can also run for Low ET-Quick 8 money or ET race. Double the fun.

u only wish you were hung so long, to bad ur not because if u were u would not have the time to set on the net talking ur shit. i do not drive because if something were to break or go wrong i can not fix it and i think u need to know how to work on ur own shit. if u are gonna have a race car u need to know how to work on it and i personally do not. so i leave it us to my husband that is hung way long.

My dragster has a pretty big fuel door on top. Will that qualify me to run with the door cars? After all if i put my engine in a real door car i wouldn't stand a chance so i really need this UNFAIR ADVANTAGE.

Does anybody know what an "Altered" is.......They sure don't run in the same class as the door cars. Always use to seeing them run with dragsters until now. Dragster driver, take your fuel door off and wire it to your cage and presto you have a door car.

I have always heard there were only two classes of race cars at the Hill. Open Wheel and Door Car. An altered was thought of as an open wheel or dragster. Sounds like now an open wheeled altered is a door car. Has that changed recently? Sounds to me like the "Garlits" capsule (many dragboats currently use these) qualifies as a door car at the moment, too. Come to think of it, a jet dragster has a capsule door on it, too. Dang, door cars have a wide range!

About the new door car requirements, I was at a guy's shop the other day and he mentioned that he was trying to figure out how to put a door of some kind over the roll cage of his dragster, kind of like a jet fighter plane cockpit door or drag boat capsule or something. Sounds like it would meet the door car requirement to me. He would have to open the capsule door to get in and there is no other way to get in it. Yes, he could take off the capsule door and still run as a dragster, too. Dang, he can have the best of both classes for only the cost of a capsule door. Weight and wheelbase are not the deciding factors. How fair is that???

Maybe a dragster owner will slip a plastic door car body on the dragster and let the wheels stick out on both ends but then it will be empty except that now it has a qualified driver at the wheel and not some non-helmet wearing amateur. I take it that you have something against racers that can run circles around the much slower door cars. There is no competion between the two classes, why do you dislike the faster racers?
