Subject: 5.80 Index Racing: April 16th

We are planning a 5.80 index race this coming Saturday(04/16/11) at The Hill. There has been some interest from some out of town racers for this race as well as many of our local/regular racers. If you are interested please let me know or just sign up when you get to the track. The track announcer will call us for the qualifying passes, but you can make more than the 2 used for qualifying. The track has been adding money to the pot because they want this to be successful...and the spectators love it! Entry fee will be $25. See all of you there............

Hey Jeff, I am adding a 5 gallon pail of Dragon Racing fuel to go to the Winner of the 5.80 Index Class on April 16th.
In addition we will be giving several pails out at the Car Show on April 30th to Winners in some of the Drag Race Classes.

Thanks Blake. Also, I have confirmed that Ricky Bridger will be there for the 5.80 race as well as Ricky Sehon. Gonna be fun!!!!

I would like to see if we could set a regular date each month for the 5.80 Index race at the Hill. Preferably either the 1st or 3rd Saturday each month. We are running points with the Pro 5.80 Index group at two Dallas tracks on 2nd and 4th Saturdays each month. We would like to be able to do the Hill without a conflict in race dates.

We had 6 cars all run in the 5.80's on time trials and qualifying last Saturday night 4/16/11. After 1st qualifying round 5 cars had run 5.80 to 5.84. These guys have now got their 5.80 tune up down for some tight side by side racing in the future.
I think the spectators like it too!
