 I just want you to know, that a lot of times what we read on the Internet - as I'm sure you're well aware - are stories of pure fiction and fantasy.

How many times have we all read where some poor, hapless girl who was going to be away at college had no choice but to live with her very fair but very strict aunt who had a home in the same town. She had no choice (they never do) but to agree to the Aunt's rules of behavior for living with her, including consequences for breaking those rules which also - of course - always included hard spankings.

That aside, my arrangement with the college girl I mentioned previously, is completely, 100% factual...so it really does happen that sometimes girls DO need someone who is something of a mentor, to provide boundaries which are reinforced by real consequences, to keep them more focused on the business of their education. This particular young lady moved to my home town to complete her education in the medical field. She was studying at another university out-of-state, but she was required to finish her degree plan at this other institution near my home town, so she really did move here for that very reason. When she was in her hometown before moving here, she had a similar arrangement with someone else, who provided her 'incentive' to stay pretty close to the 'straight-and-narrow,' but obviously when she moved, that relationship naturally terminated...and that's where I come in. She basically offered me the 'job,' and after careful consideration...for about .000002 seconds...I accepted.

No, she doesn't live with me, but one thing we have agreed upon, it 100% honesty. She knows that lying to me is automatic grounds for a paddling, and she somewhat reluctantly accepted that lying by omission is still a complete lie, and that she gets no credit, no leniency for confessing to me her transgressions, that I would not have otherwise known. It's like you can't expect to be rewarded for doing the right thing in the first place. On occasion she has made things much worse on herself by withholding information for an extended period of time and there may very well be some things she has never told me, but I can't worry about that. I do think she is very honest, if sometimes reluctant, to confess.
