 It seems that you are being regarded as a maternal figure by some college-aged young women, and that they trust you enough to confide in you, even telling you about things they are ashamed of. Next time this happens, just have a line ready such as "Well if you were my daughter I would certainly get that hairbrush out", and then take it from there, observing the girl's reaction and then perhaps moving forward to some kind of mentoring pact that may or may not include spankings. Since these are adult women they can be expected to let you know whether they do or do not like the idea of going over your knee when they (or you) regard that as an appropriate reaction to whatever wrongdoing they feel guilty of. As I said, nothing is wrong as long as there is consent on both sides.
