I will comment a little further on this stuff, though. Um, the Booster Club isn't the same as it used to be. There are 'term limits' and restrictions on board membership to ensure that there's not an "Elite" seven or five or one for too long. People tend to get waaay too put off by something that happened in the past.
Even real politics have that regretful election of someone who maybe wasn't the best 'man' for the job. But that doesn't mean that the organization itself should be shunned for all eternity, you know?

About Yates talking to that specific group, uh, he has prefaced some of the stuff he's said with, "This isn't public yet." and "Just for you guys." etc. I'm sure that's just to make us feel all warm and special, but it's sort of the point people are making, I think.
Like, last year when he told us all that we'd be affiliated with Minnesota Wild. He said he was letting us know early as a reward for all we do for the team and as a thank you.
Why would that be considered public information, then? (even if it did fall through)
This last 'reveal' by Mr. Yates wasn't even anything. He just said we're looking for investors, hoping for a team, etc. "It's looking good. We're optimistic." Nothing of any substance.
Funny that it went this far...BUT AT LEAST IT WAS ALLOWED TO!!
