Just a reply to your comment about the oldest players or whatnot gettign positions, knowing Morgan, I would assume that if, (and I'm not saying I know one way or the other whether the president or morgan would dole out positions,) Morgan was the one providing ranks, it would be on merit / first come first served. The only problem about leaving them open to everyone, as I see it, as everyone wants it to be *them* with the incredibly awesome powers. Hardly anyone wants to admit that they, (or in this case, their character,) is inferior, so everyone wants to be the best rogue, the best spy, the best pilot. *I*, personally, (not that it matters who, but it is a thought) think that someone (Morgan or anyone else who is *worthy*) should observe current players and the quality of their posts, the time put into their characters and their character's personalities, how they handle difficult situations, etc. The best player gets the position they want, and from then on down. The people who just want to powerplay and post two sentence posts (not pointing fingers, I've done both myself) should not be awarded coveted positions such as rogue, if indeed such titles become restricted.

Just my thoughts. As for the other things Morgan wanted addressed: My comments in Red
- Character rules. What a character can and can't do, and who gets to be what class of character. A comment has been submitted that the class of rogue be granted only by permission.
(My thoughts are above)

- Training. Should training for various classes be implemented by each government, fighter training, rogue training, etc. I personally don't see a way that could work. Training in Castle Camelot is not necessarily as successful as intended, so I would vote 'no' on that one...
- POW rules. We need a set of rules both governments (I.C., signed by Loki and Tsunami) agree to abide by regarding the treatment of Prisoners of War. These I think everyone can agree need to be in place.
- Prisoners should be treated ethically, and as humans and living beings.
- Food, water, and shelter should be provided.
- Extreme or physical measures should only be used to the extent to safely detain the prisoner.
- Fire may be returned and any extreme measures by the prisoner may be returned in kind, but torture or undue punishment is unacceptable.
- Measures necessary to detain the prisoner, whether restraints or cells are used, are permissible, and guards or other personnel may fire on sight if a prisoner attempts escape.
- POWs may be exchanged for services or ransom, may be held hostage, and may be used for any means their captors wish, execution even permissible *should* events warrant.
That's enough for me for that one, just some basic ideas...

- PP (Powerplaying) rules. What is acceptable, what is not, and who is allowed to powerplay.Powerplaying is always a hard thing to address in any game. It's hard to get any blows in if you don't powerplay, so, I suggest most everything be done on dice roll. Dice roll for capture, dice roll for escape, injuries, etc. Sort of the same system used in Ancient Realm, but, of course, adapted for the Lost Colony. This ensures that all is fair..
- Attack rules: Bombing, shooting, and the damage done. I don't want anyone to feel anything is unfair...Once again, dice roll for me. Or some way to give the intended target warning so they can either defend or abort the attack. Perhaps special permission for a bombing, or something to make it not a spur-of-the-moment commen occurance. Speaking of bombing, I would like to point out to whoever shrapnel-bombed Tanari to free Viper... Shrapnel doesn't work that way. How is it supposed to cut his bindings, and leave him unharmed? I don't get it. Nevermind. Anyways...
- I think the class rules need to be updated, on what a certain class can and can't do.. for instance, a rogue could sneak, but if a guard saw them he could shoot to kill on sight or something. Dunno. All my creative energies are all worn out.. *sigh*
