This happened to me too! I contacted the new national director on Facebook her name is Stephi Barton Williams she was very helpful and helped me dispute my transaction in PayPal to get my money back from him! I asked about the future of the Miss United States Pageant and she told me the future is bright and they got rid of the bad apples within the organization and they are taking applications for new directors in several states. Most of which are in the Midwest. I would so apply but I want to compete but her email address is director@unitedstatesnationalpageants.com. I never cared about Miss United States before really because I had always seen what a nightmare Chris Wilmer's pageants were, they were not like a National pageant at all but wow this new director used to be a state director and her pageants looked amazing and she's taking it back to Vegas instead of the unsafe city of DC! -- ILLINOIS Pageants Board

What I would suggest is contacting the Attorney General's office. When Derrick takes in entry fees without an executed contract as a director that is fraud. He needs to be stopped from doing this to other potential systems/contestants. They have already opened an investigation into the fundraiser for Lurie's hospital.
