Subject: I don't know this family, but maybe they couldn't afford to "purchase" their daughter a title, not to mention that purchasing a title shouldn't really be what this program is about in the first place. Whether the Winters offered them the opportunity or they did not, it was in poor taste to crown the others publicly at that time, not only for the 4th competitor's sake, but also for the sake of the actual winner. It just showed bad judgment. Period. It's probably best to just learn from it and move on. | |
