Her hair wasn't "poofy", it was practically parted down the middle. This won't be a popular comment because the USAers like to comment on how much better looking their girls are, but Emily has just as pretty of a face (if not prettier) than anyone in the top 5 this year. Granted she's short and that doesn't help matters. This "too overdone" business sounds like Amalia. She tried to get Emily to water down her look for years. Travis did not look overdone. Her hair wasn't poofy. This is USA, have you forgotten? You could argue all of the girls were overdone. I'm not sure what she could have toned down.
