Subject: Have you read the State Miss titleholder contract she signs day after crowning? Is in black and white what she can and can't do but some titleholders broke rule after rule in their contract (which is re worded from MAO contract). Did you ever see a Miss have her crown taken away? Some should have!

In reply to: 's message, "AS: You had 9 years in which to ingratiate yourself with everyone involved in the pageant. Instead you chose to separate people from one another, cause strife, gossip, and worst of all, intimidate young women into succumbing to your bidding, or fear losing their titles. As someone who has worked with young adults for many years, I highly doubt that this is good or effective training to become successful. More so, it is you overstepping your boundaries as a so called mentor and forever changing these young women's outlook on the world. Look at your own family that you hold in such high regard: multiple marriages and one token child who has had quite the experience with your idea of parenting. A little soul searching and professional help might be in line for you, rather than getting on this board to trash talk those who called you out!" on 08:20:05 08/05/15 Wed

If everything was black and white and in accordance with MAO rules, let's compare the happenings in Illinois over the last nine years to some of our neighboring states like IN, KY and MO who should have been using the same standard contract language. Let's compare the experiences of their titleholders to those in Illinois. Perhaps contract language wasn't the problem. And I'll repeat what someone else has posted on this board already - - if that many titleholders were bad in their job, then the failure is on A.S. and her board for failing to get good judges to select the right young woman to hold the title for a year. It all still points back to failed leadership in their part. (NT)No name10:56:26 08/05/15 Wed

Gee, your reply about titleholders breaking rules and not fulfilling their contract sounds like the type of year Tonia Gibson gave Fran and her Board. Who was Tania's local director that year - - oh wait, never mind. Funny how the word hypocrite comes to mind right about now. (NT)No name14:45:25 08/05/15 Wed
