What would I want with William Bakewell?
Okay, I was being a bit goofy when I said Sam Lufkin was "showing up everywhere," haha. But this often happens when I finally figure out an actor's identity, or at least have a suspicion. Once I start musing and noticing him, I start seeing him EVERYWHERE all of a sudden.
It happened with Bob Minford,
It happened with Cy Slocum,
It's happening with the new "Mystery Man" who I keep seeing in seemingly every Roach film I've been watching (have now logged about 30 credits for him spanning 1928-1936),
It's been happening with a couple of other actors who I've now identified and subsequently been noticing in multiple Roach films -- one of the two in a shitload of 'em (and who I have yet to email you about),
and now it's happening with Don Maines!
Honestly, I find this affliction (haha) kind of exciting. Especially now when I've recently been noticing/discovering previously unlogged appearances from familiar-to-ANM faces in Larry Semon films! (Even better [for me, anyway, haha], many of them relevant to ANM thanks to Ollie being in them!)

That's alright. It's all good and taken care of, anyway. Gotta keep an eye on that rascally footwear...
