I took the address for BEE at 1030 W. 8th St., LA and found it in the 1920 Census. It is interesting to say the least.
This building is a house full of "roomers".Residing here next to each other in the Census order:
ANNA MONSON a 40 yr. old widow born in MN: both parents born Sweden: no profession.
BEATRIX FRENCH a 19 yr.old single female born in MN: both parents born NY: profession is "clerk in a bakery".
In the 1900 Minneapolis Census we find widow, SUSAN N(?) FRENCH as head of household with her son, ELMER M., b. NY and his wife, ANNE(?) E., b. NY and their daughter, BEATRICE S. born APRIL 1900 in MN and both parents born NY.
(I made a few minor assumptions on the relationships.)
The 1900 BEATRICE in MN pretty much matches the 1920 BEATRIX in LA who is residing at the address given for "BEE MONSON, photoplayer" and also happens to be the residence of ANNA MONSON, born MN.
I'm not sure of the relationship, if any, between (widow) ANNA and BEATRIX. I can't say for sure if she is her mother because she was born in MN, not NY but her parents were born Sweden if the Census is accurate. The BEATRICE FRENCH birth record has her born "APRIL 11th, 1900" and her mother (ANN) born MN.
Minnesota Births (Minneapolis) has:
BEATRICE SUSAN FRENCH born 11 April 1900 to ELMER FRENCH and ANN EVELYN HANSTROM FRENCH.
Not at 100% confidence but it could be that BEE MONSON was born BEATRICE SUSAN FRENCH on 11 April 1900.
Over to you, JESSE.
