Three new names, courtesy of Bob Demoss of theluckycorner.com. No biographical info as of yet.

1. "Powder-Puff," the older Black kid in THE SUN DOWN LIMITED and EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF (both 1924) was played by Fleming Miller, per the studio payroll ledgers. The ledgers sometimes refer to him as Kid Miller.

2. Edward Lewis played Buckwheat's kid brother "Big Shot" in five of the MGM Gang shorts - 1-2-3 GO! (1941), HELPING HANDS (1941), GOING TO PRESS (1942), UNEXPECTED RICHES (1942) and BENJAMIN FRANKLIN, JR. (1943). His name was confirmed by a 1941 newspaper article:

"'1-2-3 GO!', an Our Gang comedy emphasizing the importance of careful street crossing as indicated here by 'Buckwheat' Thomas scolding of his careless screen brother, young Edward Lewis, will be shown at Loew's tomorrow through July 16 in cooperation with New Rochelle Safety Council's celebration of Child Safety Week beginning Saturday."

3. The Fred Astaire impersonator in CALLING ALL KIDS (1943) is Dickie Love, a regular in Universal Pictures musicals, and not David Polonsky, as was previously believed. Love's name is mentioned in a January 23, 1943 issue of The Pittsburgh Gazette:

"With studios going all out for all-star casts, M-G-M has gathered an assemblage of important 'names' for the Our Gang musical, 'Calling All Kids.' The 'stars' and their youthful counterparts include 'Eleanore Powell' - Jackie Horner; 'Fred Astaire' - Dickie Love; 'Judy Garland' - Marlene Kinghorn; 'Carmen Miranda' - Janet Burston; 'Rochester' - Buckwheat Thomas, and 'Virginia O'Brien' - Marlene Mains."
