Ancestry has several trees with SAM or the family. One is well-done and a second is so-so.
The so-so Tree had the 1925 death but no sources. They had a link for their marriage in the death source.
I was surprised that RANDY's book had the wives info except for the 2nd wife and baby. Naturally, neither the book or Family Trees mention the info you found with his troubles with the law and juvenile detention.
You inspire me to look a little further.
The info on the second wife is also speculative from un-sourced Trees and hopefully my writing made that clear. His bio was already getting too long to give detailed explanations!
