((Pulls B'nederra kicking and screaming from the closet. B'nederra bites Pup's finger, then Pup turns, and glares at him.
B'mederra, Pup wants us to talk to Cara.
"Oh." He then allows himself to be posted.))

B'nederra secured his belt, and walked into the Lower Caverns.
Kierth, how many hatchlings were there?
Nine, Derra.
I hate being called Derra, Kierth.
I know. That's why I do it.

Little bronze Girth perched himself on B'nederra's leatherclad left shoulder, warding off the lithe brown Kier, and smaller blue Figgles. Kier had taken up residence on B'nederra's right shoulder, and glared at his older brother. Poor Figgles, the misfit blue, flew behind his Impressor, obivously not his bubbly self.

B'nederra ran through the list of Impressed pairings.
M'att Impressed brown Ashertith.
L'geri Impressed blue Langerith.
M'telle Impressed blue Harilath.
Aylana Impressed blue Braunith.
K'rea Impressed Blue Neroath.
J'ay Impressed blue Fabroizith.
Vivian Impressed green Idalith.
Z'rach Impressed green Dramatilith.
Synthis Impressed green Xiualath.

So everyone Impressed, Kierth.
Yes, Derra. There hasn't been a suicidal hatchling since the little gold from Maith's last clutch.
Don't remind me, Kierth. That was a troubling dilema.
I know.

The huge bronze was silen for a moment, then asked,
Did we ever find out how Maith's rider was doing?
No, they sent us nothing.

B'nederra scanned the Lower Caverns, and spotted his daughter's hair. She was sitting at a large table with several of her friends, several of which she had introduced to him.
The other girl at the table would be Faini, and the boyu both the girls were trying to comfort must be Graythorn. Good bronze material if he ever saw it. Who were the other four?
Shadow, you've been introduced to. The rest are Terent, the boy sitting next to Faini. Tobas Salt, the boy on the other side of Cara, and his siter, Elvira Salt.
Tha's right. Thnk you, Kierth.
Ready always, Derra.

Blue Figgles landed on the table before B'nederra approached. Squabbling, Girth and Kier followed suit.
Shaking his head at the flits antics, he crept up behind Cara.

Without saying anytihing, B'nederra sat down on the other side of the round table. "Boo. Why the long face, Graythorn?"

B'nederra, for a bronze rider, you are a dimglow. Hello? Graythorn's best friend just Impressed, and so natuarlly, he is sad. Boy are you dim!
Am not, I just forgot about K'rea.
Obviously.

A drudge brought a platter of his favorite spiced Wherry stew, and a loaf of round bread. Instead of klah, the female drudge handed him a flask of good aged white wine. He read the lable, wwihch said that it was a new Isle vinage. He rather did like these vintages.
"Enjoy, Bronzerider B'nederra."
