Moving baseball to the parking lot or a nearby location would leave Coffey Field with a chance to be a nice little football / soccer stadium.... Subject Author Date The multi-level parking structure supposedly will be done, however, I do not think there is a plan for a different baseball field. As I recall, all the necessary approvals were secured for the lot but the timing was poor i.e., multiple semesters would have been impacted so the plan was temporarily deferred. Do not know whether the lot is being rethought as part of the strategic plan being developed. IMO it should be, however, there usually is a time frame to use approvals which may be expiring.
