Subject: This Lincoln Center expansion is necessary. Fordham Law is the 15th most selective law school in the country. Measured by almost all criteria, it is a top 20 school. But US News ranks the school 34th, largely due to facilities. We have a poor "student to square foot ratio." Space is so cramped that the law school's clinical program operates from leased space near Columbus Circle. We need a state-of-the facility. This will place Fordham among the nation's best law schools, which in turn will help move the university as a whole to the forefront of higher education. Subject Author Date The strategic plan will address the future of athletics at Fordham and will be released in October or November of this year. Some of the elements of the plan are completed, the Lincoln Center phase is a priority and this expansion has been discussed and worked on for over 5-6 years. I think we'll be generally pleased when the plan is released as it pertains to athletics. Be patient, athletics is not the number one priority at Fordham right now.
