Subject: All of these are great suggestions! Many bands sit midway up in the stands or higher, and some bands even sit in the end zone seating, specifically for the acoustic aspects. I've always felt Fordham's band should move higher up. Sure, it's inconvenient to carry large instruments up and down slippery, narrow, crowded stairs but that can be dealt with.

In reply to: A-10 soon.. 's message, "I like many of your suggestions.. Perhaps some brick work and a black wrought iron fence seperating the stands to the playing surface would also add character... An "FU" in the middle (50 yard line) of the fencing.. A statue or sculpture of some sort also would add chartacter commerating "Coffey".... I know the band wants to sit close to cheerleaders but you are correct by stating that they should sit higher and closer to midfield.. The sound would multiply and carry rather than where the band currently sits..." on 15:45:17 02/22/05 Tue
